Michael Eaton's Quartet, Individuation, Playing in the Performance Space for Tribeca Art and Culture Night 2019
CSSMA faculty member Michael Eaton (saxophone/piano/flute/clarinet) leads his highly lauded Individuation quartet through an exciting set recorded live in Church Street School’s performance and recital space. Individuation also includes Brad Whiteley (piano), Daniel Ori (bass), and Shareef Taher (drums). The music encompasses Jazz, post-minimalism, world rhythms, and free improvisation. Michael’s work has been recognized by numerous leading critics, who have called it “captivating,” “impressive,” “incredibly gorgeous,” “mind-bending” and “triumphant.”
Our students participated in virtual recitals this past June. It was a first for all of us, but they had the chance to record and present their pieces in a virtual format. Please enjoy some select videos from the spring recitals.
